We wouldn’t recommend anyone purchase any cases from Density.sk if you live in the UK as will cost you around £240. Similarly, receiving the Velka 7 case from the US via Velkase.com will net you around £250 after import and delivery charges.
The Velkase design is truly special with minimal visible external screws, honeycomb vents for airflow, and a smooth aluminium/steel finish. Its compact size and thick panels do cause the case to stay warmer for longer compared larger Mini-ITX cases. We found building in the Velka 7 more time consuming than most SFF cases, however it was extremely satisfying.
We wouldn’t recommend the use of the back M.2 slot on your motherboard if supported, as it sits flush against the GPU backplate and may cause the M.2 drive to overheat. We recommend using an M.2 extension module or external M.2 enclosure instead. We found some very minor issues with our Velka 7 case. There was no space between the motherboard tray and SFX power supply as mentioned in the instructions at the time of filming. The included riser cable is slightly shorter than it probably should be, giving how it bends in order to be mounted in the case.
