AN600 low-profile CPU cooler provides upto 180W of cooling performance according to DeepCool (this may be accurate for Intel, but not AMD). The cooler stands 67mm tall and features 120×15mm fluid dynamic bearing fan and six 6mm copper heat pipes. It maintains high compatibility with ITX motherboards and supports RAM modules upto 40mm. FANS
The cooler includes single 120×15mm FT12 slim fan, which features white LED hub. We didn’t encounter any high frequency buzzing or fan motor noise during testing. The fan reached 40dBA at 100% fan speed, 35dBA at 80% and stayed below 30dBA at 50%, recorded at distance of 50cm.
TEST SYSTEM
Testing is carried out on BC1 Mini v2 (open testbench), using the following hardware, in 20°C ambient room temperature. We noise normalised the cooler fan speed to 35dB(A) at distance of 50cm. This helps eliminate brute force cooling from higher RPM fans.

BENCHMARKS
We run Cinebench R23 multicore (stability test), for period of 30 minutes. This provides worse case scenario for a given CPU. CPU coolers are typically tested across range of CPU’s for data validation and to reduce risk of errors in testing. This also helps account for variables between CPU platforms.
CONCLUSIONS
We feel DeepCool paid attention to the small details with AN600 design. It has good motherboard and ram compatibility, while also looking rather striking with clear LED fan hub. Performance is on par with equivalent coolers from Thermalright, Noctua and IDCOOLING. Overall product quality is excellent and MSRP pricing is about what you’d expect for 70mm top flow cooler.
