Streacom TX13 hight performance thermal paste is supplied in a recycled card envelope that contains five coated foil sachets.
Each sachet contains the recommended ‘pea sized’ amount of thermal paste (0.25g), providing full coverage of a standard desktop CPU.
TX13 thermal paste was designed to reduce environmental impact of packaging, especially those rigid plastic applicator tubes. Streacom have partnered with the Eden Reforestation Project and will sponsor the planting of a tree for every packet sold.
REVIEW
In this review, we are unable to test long term use due to the impracticality of testing such a scenario. Something to keep this in mind.
All testing was completed on BC1T Open Testbench using the following hardware in 20°C room ambient temperature. The AIO Liquid Cooler fans were set to 35dB(a) noise level at distance of 50cm.

Streacom TX13 thermal paste closely resembles Thermal Grizzly’s Hydronaut thermal compound in both colour and consistency.
THERMAL PASTE COMPARISON
With most things, pricing can be a deciding factor. TX13 is closely priced per gram to Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut and around 5x the price vs ARCTIC MX4. This pricing difference may be attributed to what Streacom is trying to achieve with the eco-friendliness of TX13 thermal paste.
The amount of thermal paste provided in each TX13 sachet is as Streacom states “the recommend pea-sized amount“. We can agree that you won’t have any issues with coverage on any modern consumer CPU. TX13 had the best paste consistency overall; of the thermal pastes we tested in this review.
On average, it performed 1~2 degrees better than Thermal Grizzly’s Hydronaut & Noctua’s NT-H1 and was on par ARCTIC’s MX4. TX13 provided the typical thermal conductivity you’d expect from a high performance thermal compound, but is much more environmentally friendly that its competitors. We fully support Streacom’s environmental initiative.
